Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn and contribute to our information security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of our cybersecurity measures.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Help in managing security tools and technologies, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure security best practices are integrated into all facets of our digital infrastructure.
- Participate in the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
- Assist in incident response activities and investigations into security breaches.
- Keep abreast of the latest security threats and trends, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks (such as NIST, ISO 27001) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) would be advantageous.
- Prior internship or work experience in IT or cybersecurity.
